Hundreds RT 03/03 Cilangkap Residents Vaccinated Against COVID-19

Hundreds RT 03/03 Cilangkap, Cipayung, East Jakarta underwent COVID-19 vaccination which held at SMK As-Syafi'iyah 2 Cilangkap Building, on Wednesday (6/2). This vaccination involved 37 health workers from sub-district and urban village health centers (Puskesmas).

We are targeting to vaccinate 300 residents

According to Cipayung Sub-district Head, Fajar Eko Satrio, this vaccination service is provided especially for RT 03/03 Cilangkap residents since the area is now categorized as red zone after residents exposed to COVID-19 increased from 24 into 104 people. Vaccination is given to residents who meet the requirements, such as aged 18 years and over, healthy, and not exposed to COVID-19.

"We carry out mass vaccination for RT 03/03 Cilangkap residents who meet the requirements. We are targeting to vaccinate 300 residents," he conveyed.

40 RT 03/03 Cilangkap Residents Have Been Recovered from COVID-19

So far, he continued, 40 residents of RT 03/03 have been recovered. While the others are still being treated in hospitals and Wisma Atlet. Because some residents are still being treated, micro-lockdown status that should have been ended on Monday (5/31), is extended for the next 14 days. After 14 days, red zone and micro-lockdown status in the region will be evaluated again.

Meanwhile, RW 03 Cilangkap Head, Rosadi mentioned, his residents are quite cooperative to participate in this vaccination. They come alone to the vaccination site without having to be picked up by officers. He hopes all citizens want to be injected with vaccines and adhere to health protocol to prevent COVID-19 spread.

"Residents aged 18 years and over, including elderly who haven't been vaccinated, can participate in this vaccination. Most of them go the vaccination site by themselves because we have socialized it to residents before," he said.

On this occasion, dasawisma cadres, Jumantik cadres, TP PKK, Posyandu, RT/RW administrators, LMK and FKDM were also vaccinated.

"They are enthusiastic to take a part in this vaccination because they want to be healthy and not exposed to COVID-19," he stated.
